Urgent Matter - Democracy is at Stake

Dear Representative Bryan Steil,

During the first few months of his administration, President Trump issued a number of directives concerning the federal workforce.  In doing so he has gutted our federal agencies causing harm to our country and he is a serious threat to our democracy. As a result of the above orders, the reform of Congressional Representatives is now required if we are going to survive as a nation.

The reforms will be built around four pillars:

Return to Office: You will spend more time in the district.  We require that you set up weekly town hall meetings with at least one per month in person in the district! 

Performance culture: Congress should be comprised of the best representatives America has to offer. We will insist on excellence in services already approved by Congress and we expect you to stand up to the Trump Administration’s cuts to any programs that affect your constituents. 

More streamlined and flexible elected workforce: Under the guise of fraud, abuse and waste you have allowed the termination of jobs needed to implement the programs and services approved by Congress. We demand that you reinstate ALL of our dedicated federal employees immediately while terminating all Department of Government Efficiency employees, including Elon Musk at once. 

Enhanced standards of conduct: Congress should be comprised of elected officials  who are reliable, trustworthy, and responsive to your constituents and who strive for excellence, standing up to this President's unraveling of democracy. unraveling of programs you have already approved and ruining the United States respected stature in the world!  You will be  subject to enhanced standards of suitability and conduct as we move forward. Congressional representatives  who engage in unlawful behavior by not impeaching this president who is ignoring the rule of law by defying court orders will be defeated in the next election!

Reform or Resign
Each of the pillars outlined above will be pursued by your voters in accordance with applicable law, consistent with the reason we elect you - to represent us and not be loyal to this President of the United States.

If you cannot live up to our expectations as listed above, we are offering you a chance to resign. Should you choose to stay and we find evidence that you are not committed to these standards and that constituents in your district are harmed by the egregious actions of this Administration, your service to this country will be terminated in November of 2026 and we will elect someone who represents the people and is loyal to democracy.

Whichever path you choose, we thank you for your service to The United States of America.
